Adam on the X Factor

One of 2010's strongest auditions, it's a shame he didn't make it any further in the show. And it's also sad (and odd) that more people don't remember his routine.

Non-Bio: Pillar of Salt video

You may remember a little while ago, I released a free downloadable EP through Mrs Vee Recordings...

Well, here's another video to accomapny that release, it's the EP's title track Pillar of Salt. Not a comedy video I hasten to point out (unless you want to laugh at my poor musicianship) and not really something to enjoy if you don't like bugs. But anyway, please watch it.

After Its Purpose Is Long Forgotten

Mrs Vee Recordings challenged its online community to create something audio and/or visual from scratch, in less than a week, every week in April 2010.

I decided to have a go, so here's my track/video.

Direct link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMfanOiwTRg

The music was composed in Sony Acid, using Poizone and Vanguard VST plugins, plus some samples of me banging on a dustbin and blowing down an old hoover pipe like a digeridoo. The video footage was shot in my parents' back garden, then mixed live using Mute VJ software, and filmed directly off the auxillary monitor.

Whine Meal episode 3

Here’s the third episode of the Whine Meal saga.

Some pointoids about Episode 3:
  • No massively offensive content, but contains drug references, mild language and some weird violence.
  • You can also watch it on Newgrounds if you prefer, where you are of course encouraged to vote “5” for it.
  • This is the first cartoon I’ve made using the newest Flash (CS4). Up until now I’d been animating with Flash 8 – not that I expect the difference to be visible. Or at all interesting.
  • This is also the first cartoon I’ve made which I didn’t write myself. The guest writer here was my flatmate Marius. Marius also plays the part of Mario.
  • Further to the point above, this is also the first cartoon I’ve made which crosses over with somebody else’s work; Mario previously appeared in a (live action) pilot called Mike, Harry & Misha
